| Maximilian's 11th birthday, which was his very first birthday at home, didn't start in the most magical way at all. As a matter of fact, it started with an ultrasound that had been scheduled from one day to the other due to what could have been a matter of concern--but thanks God it turned that not to be the case at all. So, after all that was an awesome start for a child's birthday . . . even if not in the most fun way at all. Anyway, Maximilian was extremely brave and smiled through the whole procedure. Just look at these pix!!! |

| As above said, the normal ultrasound results were the very best that could have happened that day. Of lesser importance, but still great, on that day I discovered that we have a petting zoo almost around the corner. It's a farm that offers free admission and only charges .50 cents per feeding cup. On his birthday, Maximilian was there twice, first as a stop when coming back from hospital and then again in the evening. |
